Are you wondering how I could claim apple and nuts as a recipe?

Yes!!!

Well, it’s more about healthy meals and snacks are one of those areas that are tricky so although not a “recipe”, nuts and apples are a fantastic snack.

And all of the recipes here are for Fat Melting Metabolism members to use as inspiration, meal plans and shopping lists.

My secret trick, if you can really call it that (and my sister told me about it anyway, so it’s really her secret trick) is to cut up the apples into bite sized pieces and to eat a piece of apple and a nut together… the sweetness of the apple cancels out the bitterness of the nut AND the fat in the nut makes you feel like you’re not just having an apple which psychologically makes us feel deprived at times.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Apple I cut mine into pieces
  • 20 grams Raw Nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, Brazil Nuts, Cashews etc.)
Instructions
  1. I usually pop a nut and a piece of apple in my mouth at the same time and enjoy!
